Lord helped my Family

PRAISE THE LORD
“For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.” JEREMIAH 29:11
My name is Dona. I am a nursing student studying in Bangalore. This testimony that I’m going to share is about the blessings received by my brother, in which MORIAH MEET turned out to be a platform for that.
In my life, if I were to ask a blessing from God, or if there were any case that I could give my intentions, it was only about my brother and his repentance. It was in 2013 that my brother met with an accident leaving him in state of loss of hope and faith in God and he turned out to be rebellious with mother more often. And that accident has left a mark on his body which he cannot cover up in his life at all. Afterwards, at the time of rosary he will correctly go from home and he will only return after he made sure that everything is over. And even if he is in home by chance, he will resist every chance for not praying rosary. He will not go to our parish church on Sundays and he used to replace it with going to a church which was comparatively far from home, and of course there the holy mass was short. On Sundays too, it was my mother who keep on insisting him to go for mass, otherwise he will not get up at all. He never attends a retreat or a one day convention. My brother was not confident enough in talking with others and he had this great fear for speaking in English. Even though he got graduated and did few small courses, he was not able to find a better job. We were not able to continue with the work of our new house and only laid its foundation. Because my father alone was not able to financially support everything at a time for our family. My brother has asthma problems since childhood. Because of these respiratory problems he was not able to do certain things which were normal for others. He was really dependent on this inhaler which he was really embarrassed to use before anyone other than us. My parents they did their maximum to get my brother cured from this asthma. But could not find any results. Because of this health issue and physical scar that he got when he met with the accident left him in spiritual dryness in all the aspects. It was like almost 7 years that my family was praying for my brother’s repentance and for his inner healing. He was so, so far from God. All these years my family prayed to the God to take away suffering and to convert my brother. But regardless of the prayers, my brother remained the same.
I got a chance to attend the MORIAH MEET 2019 held in Bangalore. Throughout the prayers of this meet I was praying for my brother and father who had the same respiratory problems and he was also intensely dependent on medicines. It was from this meet I got the knowledge about why we should pray through ‘THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST’ and it’s worth fullness. At the time of adoration I surrendered both my father and brother for their inner and physical healing.
It was the second day of the retreat that turned out to be miraculous. My name was called out during the final session conducted by Br. Reji and I started to cry when I heard it. For me it was like hearing from the Lord and I was completely satisfied when I heard my name and I felt the real presence of the Lord among us. I waited for this moment to happen since 2010. During the time of adoration Br. Reji revealed the blessings that God poured on many people and I was longing to hear my brother’s name too. And he told that, few people suffering from asthma were touched by God. But as I want my blessing to be specific I didn’t focused on that revelation. At the end when we got chance to see Br. Reji he asked “Is anyone who prayed for their brother who is sick in some way is here??” And I raised my hand, told me that your brother is touched by God. And the very next thing that he asked was “Is anyone here whose housework is left incomplete?” and yet again I raised my hand and he said again god has touched on that. I told Br. Reji to pray for my brother who is to attend a retreat on that same day and he just patted on my head. I was really happy on that day, because God has answered in all the areas that I wanted him to.
When all this happened on Sunday in Bangalore, I was not able to convey this to my mother because of the phone restrictions that we had in our hostel. When I called my mother on Saturday, she had told me to pray for my brother deeply because they were forcing him to attend a retreat which was compulsory for my cousin and he took my brother to accompany him. My brother’s retreat was supposed to start on that same Sunday i.e the day two of MORIAH MEET. I don’t know whether he had gone or not and what really happened but I prayed, prayed in the sense like, he went for the retreat and will be participating in the sacraments. Without knowing the news about my brother I continued to pray and hopefully waited for the next Sunday to arrive. When I got phone on the next Sunday I was really in doubt about what happened to my brother, whether he attended the retreat or not. I called to my mother and inquired about my brother. The news what she told me about my brother was really surprising, miraculous and a blessing.
My brother went to the retreat. In the first 2 days of his retreat he was finding difficulty to pray and was seeing this deep darkness when he closed his eyes. He was touched by God. He repented. Got the grace to pray rosary. He made a good confession and got good counseling. In his counseling it was told to him that his fear about the language is taken away, he no need to use the inhaler anymore as he got cured from asthma by God , he will be able to pass the IELTS and our housework will be finished out of no worry. When my brother closed his eyes he did saw three persons during the time of adoration, one with long white robe, the other with a blue cloak and the other with beard. He felt the signs of Holy Spirit such as wind and fire and did saw doves flying around him. His body got this super heat from toe to neck, as if he was standing on fire. Now both my father and brother are not dependent on the medicines, they’ve got 95% cured from the health issues they had.
What Br.Reji had told about my brother has come true. What all the things that God has revealed through MORIAH MEET to me was becoming practical in my brother in the following week.

My brother told my mother that, somehow we cannot see Jesus and my mother asked him then how can she see Jesus, he replied that if mother had lived her life in the way he lived, she will surely see Jesus.

This is my testimony. This conversion of my brother taught me to be patient with the plans of God. For surely the one above, have plans for you. You need to live according to his will and when he show the holy grail of suffering towards you, just accept it and believe that it is the will of God and you need to go through that. When the time comes you will be prospered as Lord has planned for you.
